RIGID LIFELINES PRODUCT AND INSTALLATION COMPETENCY TRAINING

The Rigid Lifelines Product and Installation Competency Training course is a classroom-based hands-on technical training course covering our products. Check this page throughout the year for newly posted training dates. For more information, email info@rigidlifelines.com.

The course consists of approximately 16 hours of training over two days followed by a certification test. Participants who pass the exam will receive a Certificate of Completion that indicates Rigid Lifelines and Spanco product competency. This course covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to Rigid Lifelines
  • Track vs. Others
  • OSHA Law & ANSI
  • Rigid Lifelines Product Proper Usage
  • Hazard Analysis
  • Rescue
  • Rigid Lifelines System Installation and Inspection
  • Architects & Engineers Portal Review
  • Selling Features and Benefits
  • Installation of a Small Freestanding Traveling Bridge Fall Protection System
Each dealer is responsible for his or her flights to and from the host city, but most other costs, such as hotel accommodation, meals, and certain local transportation are covered by Rigid Lifelines.
